DataBee EntityViews™, powered by a patent-pending entity resolution technology, introduces automated detection chaining that improves threat hunting, security detection fidelity, and insider risk monitoring. An enhanced set of ZTNA and SSE controls compliance dashboards accelerate zero trust compliance and provide greater performance insight to help reduce an organization's risk.

MultiChoice Group Picks Metrological to Deliver Premium OTT Services on DStv
Rotterdam, Netherlands – November 24, 2020 – Metrological announced today that it has been selected by MultiChoice Group to bring premium OTT services, international apps and localized content to its subscribers across Africa on its new Explora Ultra set-top box as well as its new Streama OTT platform. MultiChoice leverages the Metrological Application Platform to package MultiChoice’s content with apps and premium OTT services from the Metrological App Library to enhance TV subscribers’ viewing options.

Fetch TV Partners with Metrological on Expanded TV App Store for its Customers
Rotterdam, Netherlands and Sydney, Australia – September 1, 2020 – Fetch TV and Metrological today announced a partnership that will see the Metrological Application Platform integrated onto the Fetch service. Fetch will also utilise the Metrological Lightning Framework to enhance the performance of the Fetch user interface.
The cloud-based Metrological Application Platform allows Fetch to seamlessly integrate premium OTT services, and niche and localized apps into one single viewer experience. The unified TV App Store and back-office product suite enables Fetch to onboard, monetise and optimise the life cycle of apps across their set-top boxes (STBs). This enables real-time response to subscribers’ changing content preferences.
Metrological offers content providers access to the open Lightning Software Development Kit (SDK) for quick app development, with a single app build facilitating distribution to a global footprint of operators. Comcast Technology Solutions and FreeWheel Partner to Bring Programmatic Advertising to the On-Demand Living Room
Today, Comcast Technology Solutions, a division of Comcast Cable that provides media and entertainment technology to advertisers, agencies and content providers, and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company providing global technology solutions for the future of television advertising, announced a new industry solution that will bring programmatic capabilities to premium STB VOD video inventory.
The solution allows both content owners and distributors to offer advertisers access to STB VOD content, unifying it with other inventory sold programmatically across connected TV and digital video channels. The new innovation combines the ad targeting capabilities of FreeWheel’s ad decision engine with the ad creative distribution capabilities of Comcast Technology Solutions’ Ad Store, providing real-time, broadcast quality creative conditioning and distribution to all STB VOD MVPD end points.
Creative conditioning of advertisers’ video creative requires special considerations in the STB VOD advertising environment, requirements which to date have hindered the ability to offer this premium inventory programmatically. This new solution solves for these complexities with the speed required for automated bidding within FreeWheel’s unified auction structure.

Comcast Technology Solutions Launches New Technology for Political Advertisers
Denver, CO — January 30, 2020 – Comcast Technology Solutions, a division of Comcast Cable that serves advertisers, agencies and content providers with media and entertainment technology solutions, today announced the launch of a new technology solution tailored specifically to the requirements and priorities of political advertising clients. The timing of the launch will enable campaigns to quickly take advantage of advertising opportunities across channels in advance of the upcoming 2020 elections.
The newly released solution, part of the CTSuite for Advertisers, addresses the need for speed and ease of use in spot distribution, helping political clients reach voters quickly. The platform’s Quick Send function empowers campaigns with a shortcut for order entry, allowing bulk creation of simple orders to multiple destinations and easily edited line-by-line. New mobile capabilities have also been introduced so campaigns can be viewed and spots distributed directly from a mobile device. In addition, an updated closed captioning function enables buyers to request closed captioning within the portal app, saving valuable time that was previously spent emailing account managers.
The political advertising solution also includes VAST capabilities, allowing advertisers to reach voters across digital platforms. Additionally, it includes features specifically designed to streamline billing and payment, such as the ability to pay invoices issued only hours after order completion via a credit card through a convenient online portal.

Denver, CO and Las Vegas, NV – April 11, 2018 -- Comcast Technology Solutions, whose portfolio of services includes video workflow management, publication, distribution, and monetization, today announced the launch of its new video player, Player Development Kit 6 (PDK 6), developed exclusively for Comcast Technology Solutions’ mpx Video Management System. Offering a complete re-imagination of video player technology, PDK 6 is built from the ground up to optimize time-to-first-frame on browsers, enhancing the viewer experience and speeding ad loads.
Built for modern web and mobile browsing standards, PDK 6 was developed purely in HTML5 for resilient, fast performance and quicker ad loads. The new video player delivers load times of less than one second during controlled conditions, providing a key competitive advantage in user experience. The user interface has also been dramatically improved, offering a single player across all four major browsers on both desktop and mobile devices. Rebuilt to run against a native browser ecosystem, PDK 6 reduces the need for third-party intermediaries, reducing complexity and improving video player performance.
Because PDK 6 renders ads natively, ads load faster, and interoperability with ad systems is improved. PDK 6 supports both client and server-side ad insertion out-of-the-box and integrates with ad-serving platforms. By combining cutting-edge video player technology with mpx, content creators are able to enjoy streamlined workflows and minimize the overall cost of deployment, while syndicating their video through one of the industry’s fastest video players.

NBCUniversal has been successfully testing an early version of the PDK 6 player, with plans for a full launch in the coming weeks. Ashish Desai, Vice President of Global Media Operations at NBCUniversal said, “PDK 6 represents a fundamentally new direction for the Comcast Technology Solutions video player and is great example of strategic roadmap execution via co-development. The architectural approach really optimizes for performance and video start time, with our initial testing demonstrating ~50% improvement in time to first frame.” The PDK 6 player will be available in May, with additional features rolling out every month thereafter.

Built on a centralized cloud management architecture, AdStor streamlines the relationship between ad buyers and sellers by hosting advertising content in an aggregated library, ready for use across any platform including video on demand (VOD) and digital destinations. With near real-time insertion capabilities, AdStor allows ad buyers and sellers to take full advantage of advertising opportunities while reducing timely manual efforts.
Recent trends in viewership have introduced significant complexities to the advertising ecosystem, requiring content providers to adapt their workflows to different technologies including set-top boxes, VOD and over-the-top (OTT) services. Currently, manual processes can take 24 to 72 hours before a linear advertisement can be effectively transcoded and delivered across all channels. AdStor’s new cloud-based workflow reduces these processes to just minutes for quicker display through multichannel video programming distributors.
AdStor’s simplified workflow and cloud-based inventory allows ad operations teams to store and locate assets through an online user interface, providing the agility necessary to take advantage of last-minute revenue opportunities.
